MustWear...Purses

Today we are going to highlight some purses that are so noteworthy.

Church Dress would like to commend their owners ( La-Dana, Areon and Jessica)for their great selection...

La-Dana continues to wear great contemporary accessories. This black clutch doubles as a wallet and looks extra sofisticated. Even at Jack Astors!

Areon's patent leather white clutch has a strap that keeps it under control and makes it extra cute.

Jess is jumping into spring with a multicoloured Snakeskin clutch. La-Dana is following right behind with a small wallet in my fav colours PURPLE!

Visualize with CD

Have you ever wondered what people wore in earlier centuries or in the Bible days? Have you ever looked at a jacket and wanted to know its official name?

I came across this great tool called the
Visual Dictionary Online which has a section dedicated to clothing names and definitions from various centuries and cultures. It has the names and pictures of clothing, shoes and accessories. There are many categories like anatomy for the nerds like MOI!The quality of the pictures are unbelievable and really makes you understand that details that make up the item. You will definitely keep going back for more pictures lol!

Church Dress Encourages You To... Be GREEN!

Be a Christian and Be Green! Protect the earth and all that lives on it.

Here are a few ideas:

  • Remember to recycle. Chennel and Annika have the right idea! Use a cloth bag or a bag that you really like over and over again.
  • Buy a colourful water bottle and refill it instead of drinking from plastic bottles.
  • Please continue to take daily showers. Just make them shorter.
  • Purchase a reusable glass dish and use it to carry your lunch to work.
"So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand. (Genesis 9:1-2)"
Take care of the Earth. It was created just for you!

Church Dress @ Agape SDA

A few Sabbaths ago, Agape SDA was the place to be. The message by Pastor Paul Smith was meaningful and really made me reflect of myself. After listening to him speak on the 7 Steps to Growing and Going, I know that 2009 will be a year of change and development. Pastor Smith can throw down when it comes to preaching the word. He also has a bright and fun personality. His suit and bow tie attire was well thought out. His pastel coloured bow tie was a great contrast to his grey suit.

Talking about shoes Tash and I had on platforms after a snowfall of about 10 cm. Hers were cute leather Guess closed toes while I was daring in open toe sky high Nine West stilts. We were slipping in sliding in the snow but it was worth it!
